In my proof of concept I used Flexraid storage pool to do that since it's just something I already had lying around and I knew it had that functionality. There are several softwares out there than can do this. The key is to use some software that can take something like a network share and make it look like an internal HDD to the OS. It can be done by connecting your NAS Storage to a Windows virtual machine for instance. ![]() People asked this and I ran a quick proof of concept the other day. Just make sure to tag the post with the flair and give a little background info/context.
